Still Life Skull Process

Brainstorming, I wanted it to be somewhat unique. I ended up liking version 6 the most.

I gave it a last push with one more sketch in 3/4 view, but it didn't feel as confronting. Back to my original choice, no. 6.

First sketch stage - For spooky vibe, I decided to go with a limited palette consisting of orange and purple.

Final result. I ended up adding a faint touch of light red (pink) to the flames to push the contrast further. As the result, 3 colors were used: purple, orange, and an accent of pink (red hue).
